The focus of The Drake Passage, “navigating life at the edge of the map,” is actually inspired by a place: the actual Drake Passage:

The actual Drake Passage (also known as the Mar de Hoces) is the tumultuous stretch of sea that separates South America from Antarctica and the Pacific Ocean from the Atlantic. For many years it marked the edge of the world’s map, beyond which nothing was certain.

It was only through risk, trial and discovery that people came to know what was beyond what they could see.

So too, in our lives, what lies ahead — beyond the edge of the map — is only revealed through risk, trial and discovery.

This Drake Passage aspires to direct you to the Gospel-centered hope, courage and faith needed for navigating the edge of your life’s map — into the unknowns of the everyday and the extraordinary, and to all that God may be calling you to beyond the horizon.

I hope you’ll journey along with us…
